Okay, so, I haven't posted in quite a while! I think it's going to take me some time to get into the swing of blogging but I thought I'd take this chance to do a quick update on what has happened recently before I vow to post much more interesting blogs about my days and other fun things!
Last week was results day for A-Level students and I also think GCSE students so it was obviously a nerve wracking day for many. I received mine and did okay, I'm resetting my Philosophy exam but I got ABC grades in my subjects which I'm hoping to make up to AAB in my summer exams as they are worth more than the ones I have just sat. The atmosphere was absolutely horrendous at college, you literally couldn't walk down a corridor without seeing someone crying, so me and my friends decided to take a trip to the place where dreams come true...McDonalds, and drowned our sorrows in greasy, but still extremely tasty fast food! (Food is the cure to most things, along with Gossip Girl...Come on guys, we all know its true)
This weekend I don't have much planned, Friday night I'm with my best girl friends and we'll probably go for some drinks and then Saturday daytime I'm spending catching up on school work and at night I'm going over to my boyfriends for pizza, wine and a movie, yum! However, on sunday my parents are opening their new business which I'm super excited about but I have to waitress and with how clumsy I am, it is sure to go horrifically wrong! I'll take pictures throughout the weekend and then update you all on Sunday with a blog post. I'll most likely have at least a few embarrassing stories to share with you from the opening!
Speak soon!

My everyday makeup!
I thought showing you my everyday makeup would be a good place to start with my first real post!
First, I apply my foundation which is the Bourjous healthy mix serum which is a gel foundation in the colour 53 (light beige). It's meant to last up to 16 hours but half way through the day I feel that the coverage isn't as good so I just touch it up with some powder and it does the trick until I remove it to go to bed.
Next I apply the Rimmel London stay matte long lasting press powder. This removes the glow from the liquid foundation because I hate looking shiny but it still looks natural. This is the powder that I use to touch up my foundation through out the day and it works a treat! I wear 005, Silky beige and I know that this is highly praised and recommended by many beauty gurus and retailing at £3.99 you can't really go wrong!
Next I apply a black Rimmel pencil liner to my bottom lid (half way to the tear duct) and then use a Soap and Glory felt tip eye liner on the top of my eye lid. I do quite a thin line as this is an everyday casual look. I finish by apply the Maybelline Rocket Volume Express mascara in black to both my top and bottom lashes. This mascara works wonders, my eyelashes are unfortunately not that long but I get a lot of questions as to which mascara I use because when you layer it you can get a false lash effect and with it retailing at £7.99 it is a huge bargain!
I then use the UNE creamy foundation and apply this as a bronzer across my cheek bone using my fingers and then finish with the UNE blush and apply this on the apple of my cheeks and then work my way up my cheek bone. The foundation isn't worth the money at all when used as an actual foundation because to me it came on patchy however it does the job as a bronzer but I don't think i'd repurchase it. The blush is amazing though, its a nice consistency and it lasts for ages, this is my second one and I think my first lasted around 10 months, so it's definitely worth the money and it's meant to be good for the skin...bonus!
Thank you for reading and please leave comments below for requests and feedback.

Welcome to Floral Fantasy
Okay, so, after many months of stalking my favourite fashion and beauty bloggers I have finally decided to take the plunge and to join the blogging community! Everyone always looks back on their first post and cringes at how awkward it is, but it allows them to realise how far they have come and hopefully from this post onwards I will start to come to terms with blogging and hopefully provide entertainment to my readers. After taking a horrendous combination of a-levels; (in my opinion, don't judge!) Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and Philosophy I have realised that they really aren't me at all. I'm not the type of person who enjoys studying and school doesn't come naturally to me...much to my annoyance. Textiles was my favourite subject at school and has always been a passion of mine but with the vast competition in the fashion and beauty industry I regrettably opted for a more academic and in my eyes boring route, so now I'm trying to rekindle the love and passion I have always had for fashion and beauty and how our perceptions of this change each season rapidly. Now, after blabbing on and sharing a segment of my life story, I'll be posting a couple of times a week about my views on the latest fashion, with outfits of the day, reviews on clothes, the best designer dupes on the high street, etc. Along with my beauty tips and what I get up to on a day to day basis as well as fun little things like tags, hauls and showing you what is in my bag. Any requests and feedback would be greatly appreciated as I aim to please my audience!
Until next time,
xoxo
