My everyday makeup!

I thought showing you my everyday makeup would be a good place to start with my first real post!

First, I apply my foundation which is the Bourjous healthy mix serum which is a gel foundation in the colour 53 (light beige). It's meant to last up to 16 hours but half way through the day I feel that the coverage isn't as good so I just touch it up with some powder and it does the trick until I remove it to go to bed.

Next I apply the Rimmel London stay matte long lasting press powder. This removes the glow from the liquid foundation because I hate looking shiny but it still looks natural. This is the powder that I use to touch up my foundation through out the day and it works a treat! I wear 005, Silky beige and I know that this is highly praised and recommended by many beauty gurus and retailing at £3.99 you can't really go wrong!

I then move onto my eyes, firstly I apply the top left eye shadow (serendipitous) from Bare Minerals 'The Truth' compact to the lid which acts as a base. I then apply the top right shadow (Magnetism) to the top crease which provides shimmer and brightens the eye. I finish with the bottom left colour and i just apply this to the bottom half of my lid to add some colour. I think dark brown eye shadows really suit brunettes and these shadows are really pigmented and do the job perfectly!
Next I apply a black Rimmel pencil liner to my bottom lid (half way to the tear duct) and then use a Soap and Glory felt tip eye liner on the top of my eye lid. I do quite a thin line as this is an everyday casual look. I finish by apply the Maybelline Rocket Volume Express mascara in black to both my top and bottom lashes. This mascara works wonders, my eyelashes are unfortunately not that long but I get a lot of questions as to which mascara I use because when you layer it you can get a false lash effect and with it retailing at £7.99 it is a huge bargain!

I then use the UNE creamy foundation and apply this as a bronzer across my cheek bone using my fingers and then finish with the UNE blush and apply this on the apple of my cheeks and then work my way up my cheek bone. The foundation isn't worth the money at all when used as an actual foundation because to me it came on patchy however it does the job as a bronzer but I don't think i'd repurchase it. The blush is amazing though, its a nice consistency and it lasts for ages, this is my second one and I think my first lasted around 10 months, so it's definitely worth the money and it's meant to be good for the skin...bonus!

I now finish my everyday look by applying a MAC lipstick in the shade 'Plumful' this is my all time favourite lipstick as it goes with everything and is pretty casual. I do have to reapply it through the day but that is expected seen as it is only a lipstick and not a lip tint. I use the Balmi lip balm throughout the day to keep my lips moisturised. I think the flavour I have is raspberry but it has a canny resemblance to the taste of Calpol which I've always been a massive fan of!
